Women-Centred Approaches to FASD Prevention

Conference presentation to focus on ways of working with women experiencing substance use, mental health issues and violence during pregnancy

 

Nancy Poole, Betty Poag, and Lenora Marcellus will be presenting this week at the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Conference in Montreal this week.

As well as discussing the Canada Northwest FASD Network Action Teams, they will be profiling the British Columbia Healthy Choices in Pregnancy initiative, the Victoria HerWay Home Project, and the British Columbia Perinatal Health Program Prevention of FASD guidelines.
