The Canada Northwest FASD Partnership 2010 Symposium is being held in Whitehorse, Yukon on September 28 and 29th, 2010.

This symposium will be of interest to many including;

  • service providers,
  • families and caregivers,
  • individuals with FASD,
  • educators, researchers,
  • clinicians and counselors,
  • First Nation service providers,
  • child and youth workers,
  • elected officials,
  • policy-makers,
  • faith communities,
  • police and other justice workers,
  • Yukon College students,
  • community members and anyone interested in the field of FASD.

This symposium will bring together approximately 150 people with FASD, those supporting people affected by FASD , decision-makers and researchers to share information, learn, discuss, discover new ideas and celebrate successes.

Keynote presenters include Sterling K. Clarren, Marilyn Van Bibber, Myles Himmelreich, and Andy Nieman.
