This blog is for anyone who is working to improve care for women who are at risk of having a child affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). You might be a health care provider, a social service worker, a researcher, a policy maker, an advocate or a family member of someone with FASD. You also might be a student or someone who wants to learn more about women-centred, harm reduction-oriented, and trauma-informed care.

We will be sharing news, research findings, works-in-progress and perspectives on FASD prevention related to our work as part of the Canada Northwest Research Action Team on FASD Prevention from a Women’s Health Determinants Perspective. We encourage discussion so please feel free to leave comments and share your thoughts and experiences of working in this area. You can learn more about our NAT (Network Action Team) and other teams working in the area of FASD here.
